Hey folks! Where do I start? On the positive side for me, we have had some
promising runs here lately. Unfortunately, the finishes have not shown that.
It was the most frustrating thing at Texas to end a race knowing we had a
truck capable of finishing in the top-5. We’ll still keep digging and not
let this get us down. The worse part is not being a consistent contender
every weekend. We still have a lot to iron out, but we are making strides
every weekend. The worse part now is making the show on time since we’ve
fallen out of the top-30. I’ve had the pressures of being a go or go home
car the past few years running a limited schedule in Busch and Cup. It’s not
easy having that burden on your shoulder’s, but I’ve actually been able to
cope with the pressures of qualifying more with this having been a factor in
my race weekend obligations the past few years with RCR and others. Our
qualifying efforts have been strong all year and I’m just looking forward in
giving the Pork Council a great finish and have a lot of fun the remainder
of the year. I really appreciate the Pork folks for stepping up and
sponsoring the ThorSport Racing team. I had a lot of fun meeting the Pork
Council during my win in the ARCA series at a race they had sponsored. It’s
great being back with them and I appreciate their overall support of
Motorsports. I look forward to working with them in the future.
See ya at the track!
