A Family Tradition -

Hey race fans -
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! It’s been awhile, but what a
year and I have so many things to write about. I had a lot of Top-10 finishes
and my most exciting moment was sitting on the pole for the first time
in my career. Not only to grab a pole, but for it to be at Dover was awesome.
Just knowing my Dad and the rest of my family drove on that track was
cool. I finished my Rookie Season 2nd in the Rookie standings and 5th
overall in points.
I’m proud of myself and most importantly my team. My crew chief, Clint
Cram, was awesome to work with and helped make my first year at this level
go smooth. My crew guys Cory, Scott, Charles, David, Randy, Steve and
Dave did a great job and I enjoyed becoming friends with all of them.
Next year we will house everything at DEI, so I’ll miss working with Andy
and Sue Santerre along with the rest of the ASM gang.
Last, but definitely not least, the entire group at DEI, and especially
my Dad, stood behind me and made my rookie season great. I felt no pressure
to perform and it was just neat to take my career to another level. I
have a long way to go, but DEI’s support and continued loyalty will make
it easier to sleep at night.
Well, what else can I say; it was a great year and a great way to end
the season with a pole award and 3rd place finish. I’m so excited about
next year and what the future holds. It will take a lot of hard work and
commitment from me and I’m confident everything else will fall into place.
I enjoyed meeting all of you at the tracks and if you didn’t make it out
this year, I hope to see ya in the future!
Happy Holidays!
