Hey fans been awhile, but I’m still going in circles just slacking on the writing end.  I’ve had some interesting past weekends.  I’ve race 3 times since I wrote last, not including this past weekend at Hickory Motorspeedway.  I’ve went through some learning curves, meaning I’ve sort of torn my car up a little.  It’s part of the process that I’ve got to accept the good with the bad.  I’ve been averaging a 10th place qualifying position.  I’ve had some good runs and finished in the top 10 each race, except for 1 and this past weekend.  We’ll not go into the details on that, but it’s been my only DNF so far and I finished 11th  at Hickory.  Not bad, but could have been better.  Motormile Speedway was off this weekend, so we decided to tackle Hickory Motorspeedway instead.  A lot of famous drivers have raced on that track, including my Dad and Great-Grandfather Ralph.  I can see how they became such great drivers, because that is one tough track to get around.  I qualified 14th and finished 11th.  We’ll be back at Motormile this weekend.  One thing I would like to share with all of you is a different side to racing.  I met a boy 2 weekends ago at MotorMile Speedway that is going to have heart surgery.  My teammate, Allison Duncan, and I spent sometime with him before the race. It was just such a great feeling to see him have so much fun hanging out with us.  This is a side of being in the public eye that I’ve never experienced.  It’s a great feeling!
